Routes to the stadium

From the M25, the south west and the west

Leave the M25 at junction 12 and take the M3 towards London. The M3 becomes the A316. The stadium is off the Whitton Road roundabout, next to the car dealership. Coming this way you pass through Whitton first, where most of the school and scout car parks are.

From central London

Take the A4 west to the Chiswick roundabout, then the A316 over Chiswick Bridge and through Richmond, then turn right at the Whitton Road roundabout. St Margarets and Twickenham town centre are the first areas you reach with parking.

From the M4, Heathrow and the north

Leave the M4 at the Chiswick roundabout (junction 1) and pick up the A316 south, or come down through Hounslow and Isleworth. The stadium end of London Road closes on match days, so park before you get there.

Where to park

Street parking is not an option: the event-day parking zone runs 11am to 11pm and is enforced with tickets and tow trucks. Your choices are:

The stadium's own car parks (West and North). Closest, but pre-book only through the official ticketing site, and you're inside the road closures.
School, scout and church car parks. A 5 to 30 minute walk, from about £20, and your money goes to local causes. Most can be booked online.
Council and private car parks in Twickenham town centre, such as Arragon Road multi-storey. Usually first come, first served.
Private driveways through JustPark and YourParkingSpace.

ULEZ and charges

Getting away after the match

Everyone leaves at once, and the A316 and the Whitton Road roundabout jam for an hour or more. A few things help:

Park facing home. If you're heading out on the M3, a Whitton car park west of the stadium avoids crossing the crowds.
Wait it out. Stay for food or a drink and leave once the roads reopen, about 1.5 to 2 hours after the final whistle.
Check your car park's closing time. Some close about 2 hours after the match.
